My Turing Friend
Hello from Ukraine!
This game was made for Godot Jam #53 (all wildcards used)
Controls: Arrow keys
Run full-screen for better experience (don't forget to click inside a window to get back the focus)
Objective:
Collect resources to forge gears to build a tank and get into secure vault ;)
Charge gears to increase shield levels for metal, fire and cold.

p.s.
Made a lot of assets and ideas but couldn't finish in time so decided to cut a big chunk of the gameplay ...
I was looking for a good 2d artist. But after 3 days it was clear I couldn't find anybody ...
So for the first time I tried to draw the whole art for the game (except for the main character, I bought the model and tried to mimic it in my style).
Then I've tried to dig deeper the Godot framework. Before that I have played with the engine only one time for a small test. Tried 4.0, but found few critical bugs (for me) and then switched to 3.5. Found there few bugs as well, but found workarounds. Now I know that you shouldn't generate a TextureAtlas from multiple images and use that output file in your TileMap ...
The idea came fast but it totally changed in the last 3 days (my wife gave me a good idea :) ). That's when I really started making and shaping the game.
For some reason I've started to make the game from the last level to the first one. As result I totally failed to make the collecting Nuts level, a Gear pushing mechanic, a tank building mechanic, cut scenes. tweak the difficulty and story line ... But you know, lesson learned - control your scope :)
I hope you'll get at least a small glimpse of the game`s idea with this demo ;)
To all Godot contributors and Itch.io community members - thank you!
